The results of the Regional Business Survey show that the regional Victorian economy is growing and that this is having a positive impact on those surveyed, despite indicators that respondents were unsatisfied with support from the Victorian Government.

- 78% of respondents reported company revenue had remained steady or increased in FY 15/16, with 19% reporting an increase of over 10%.
- The number one issue to be addressed by the federal government in FY 16/17 was identified as taxation reform.
- Many of those surveyed reported confidence in their business with 48% reporting they thought revenue would increase in FY 16/17.
- 64% of respondents identified the main barrier to business growth as market and economic conditions.
